Linkstertopia 9000
A downloadable game for Windows
Hello! I'm Vivek Raman, sole developer of this game, Linkstertopia 9000. Please read on for instructions on how to play the game. I hope you enjoy, please do leave feedback and a rating! Thanks!
This game is a submission to the GTMK Game Jam 2021.
Due to lack of time, the instructions are missing, sorry about that! I'll add them after the jam's freeze. In the mean time, here is a manual to the game!
This is Bol. Bol needs to get to the portal. Bol cannot move by itself, so we usher Bol to the portal using affectors.
Affectors are objects in the game that can be used to move Bol in various ways. All affectors need to be linked to a power source.
This is a puller. This is an affector that pulls Bol towards itself when it is pulsed by the power source. The puller can be moved by clicking and dragging on it.
This is a cannon. When Bol approaches the cannon, it enters the cannon and is ready to be fired, when pulsed by the power source. The cannon cannot be moved, but its angle can be altered by clicking and dragging.
This is a power source. All affectors need to be chained to a power source. When the power source is clicked, all linked affectors are pulsed.
This is the portal. The goal is to get Bol to the portal.
Use your creativity and imagination to arrange the affectors and get Bol to the portal! There are five levels in the jam submission.
I'm planning to add credits, settings, instructions, music, sfx, more levels, and more mechanics, over the next few weeks. Your suggestions and feedback is highly valuable, so please do remember to come back and drop a rating + review!

This was so fun, simple but allowed for surprisingly creative solutions, great interpretation of the idea :D
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
